4 New Compact Cars ready to launch soon – under Rs. 10 Lakhs

The compact car segement will witness a flurry of activity soon as four new cars are expected to launch in India

India’s ever competitive compact car segment is gearing up for a busy stretch with at least three new compact SUVs and a hatchback likely on the cards for launch this year. From facelifts to all-electric variants, manufacturers are focusing on grabbing attention across price points and propulsion types. Here’s a closer look at what’s line up

1. New Gen Hyundai Venue :

The new generation Venue will arrive before the end of 2025, marking a significant update for the compact SUV. The upcoming version is set ti receive a comprehensive overhaul, featuring a completely revised exterior design and an extensively updated interior layout. While the engine lineup may continue unchanged, the next generation venue is expected to bring in a host of feature additions.

2. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid :

Maruti Suzuki appears to be gearing up for a hybrid iteration of the Fronx, as suggested by recent sightings of a test module. While the overall exterior is likely to remain unchanged, the focus of this update lies underneath. The 1.2 litre Z12E petrol engine is expected to be paired with a mild-hybrid system – potentially borrowing elements from the Smart Hybrid tech seen on the international spec Dzire.

3. Tata Altroz Facelift :

Tata officially unveiled the updated Altroz recently and it will go on sale in a couple of days. The facelift gets a revised front profile featuring a restyled grille and reworked bumper while flush-fitting door handles lend a cleaner side profile. At the front, the new LED lighting arrangement marks a visual upgrade and the rear has been revised with a new connected LED tail light bar. The interior of the refreshed Altroz receives a notable overhaul to complement its exterior tweaks. Central to the cabin revisions is a redesigned dashboard, now incorporating dual 26.03 cm HD screens. The updates extend to new ambient lighting elements, revised seat fabric and the addition of an integrated air purifier amongst of an integrated air purifier amongst others.

4. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV :

Mahindra is getting ready to launch the electric version of the XUV 3XO in the near future. Sitting below the XUV400 in the brand’s electric lineup, this compact EV head-on. While technical details are still under wraps, expectations point to a claimed driving range in the region of 400 to 450 km per charge.
